  • What are the opening times?

    Open all year round

    June to September: Monday – Sunday 10.30 am – 5.00 pm

    October to May: Monday – Friday 10.30 am – 4.30 pm, Saturday & Sunday 10.30 am – 5.00 pm

  • COVID-19 restrictions?

    In light of the ongoing Corona virus pandemic Fort Dunree remains open with strict social distancing measures in place.

    Visitors are asked to obey the one way system, not to over take other families on the paths, stay 2m from other social groups and wear face coverings where possible.

    Please wash your hands regularly and obey cough and sneeze etiquette.

    We apologies for the inconvenience but we hope our visitors will understand. Please stay safe everyone.

  • How much is admission?

    Admission is €7 per adult, €5 per child/Senior, Family €15

    Under 7’s go free.

    Group Rate €3 per person

  • Do you accept card payments/sterling?

    Yes, Euro & Sterling as well as all major cards accepted

  • Is parking available?

    Yes, onsite parking is available.

    DO NOT OBSTRUCT ROADS, DRIVEWAYS AND RIGHTS OF WAY

  • Is Fort Dunree wheelchair/pushchair friendly?

    There is partial Wheelchair Access however there are areas which are not accessible. Disabled toilet available.

  • How long does it take to get around/how long will I be there?

    A visit to the Museum will take about 1 hour, to take in the walks and the rest of the site could take anything up to 3 hours.
